This is a very impressive authentic Japanese Antique Silk Haori.
The fabric is a mid-lightweight Silk, smooth-textured with a slightly puffy and lustrous finish typical of hand tied tie-dye (shibori).
This garment is hand-made and hand-stitched in the traditional way. You will see slight variations in the small cells. This is not a flaw but proof that this garment is hand tie-dyed.
Still in great condition although it is quite old. Great to wear as a traditional costume, a holiday or a dressing garment. Also perfect for an autique wall art.
There are stains on the lining as shown by the picture.
