Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Please include a note with your reason for the return and send returns to us by Tracked & Signed mail at your own expense no more than 14 days after receiving and send us the tracking number by email. Refunds will be made within 30 days of receiving the return and it clearing inspection.

*Note that there is a 5.0% charge deducted from payments refunded for returned goods, as we are charged a non-refundable fee by collection agencies and be aware that no postage can be refunded, only the item price, minus 5.0%, is refunded. If any other charges such as import duty are charged, these charges also deducted from the refund amount.

*Returned items will be thoroughly inspected before any refund is made and returns will be rejected if the item appears to have been used or if it has any marks or damage of any kind, including excessive creasing.

*After 14 days, no return will be accepted and no refund will be given.  Any returned item sent after 14 days (or returned not in the exact condition it was sent) will only be sent back to the customer once they pay postage to receive it back, so be sure to send it to us in time if making a return.

*Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us through the contact form in 7 days after receiving if the item is obviously defective (not described), damaged in transit or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Returns, refund and any other request will be rejected if the customer returns the item before contacting us and it sent back to them once they pay postage to receive it back.

*Disclaimer. Almost all items on our site are second-hand and vintage items. We always describe the defects of the items as possible but there are some minor signs of wear, not obvious defects due to the nature of used and vintage items. About the color, all monitors display color slightly differently, so the color in the photos and descriptions is a guide only. And sometimes they have smell of mothballs or a touch of vintage mustiness. If you are sensitive to these kind of smell, please refrain from ordering our items.

About Fabric items, these were unpicked and cut from authentic vintage kimonos and obis in our shop. There might be some imperfections such as light stains or pinholes or light discolorations. Tears on the selvedges might be there, even carefully unpicked.

We won't accept returns and refund with these kind of reasons.

Furthermore, all items are cleaned at buyer's own risk, as is standard with all vintage goods, so we won't accept returns that have been damaged by your chosen form of cleaning. A few items will come with cleaning instructions on an attached label but most come with no instructions and while we may give cleaning guidelines, bear in mind that they are only guidelines. Safe cleaning method choice is the decision of the buyer and at done their own risk.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 30 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
