This is a absolutely stunning genuine Japanese Vintage Silk Haori.
The fabric is a mid-weight Silk, smooth-textured with a slightly puffy and lustrous finish typical of hand tied tie-dye (shibori).
This garment is with hand-stitched shibori patterns in the traditional way. You will see slight variations in the small cells. This is not a flaw but proof that this garment is hand tie-dyed.
This garment would be good for a party, a formal event, or even for holidays or the office or everyday wear. Also perfect for wall art.
This kimono has "Shitsuke-ito"(white stitching), to keep garment neat during long periods of storage, it just gets pulled out prior to wearing.
