Green Silk Haori of Awase style (fully lined) with floral pattern of Shibori.
This is a genuine vintage Japanese ladies' kimono Haori jacket, with an all over small ‘cells’ design by tie-dye (Shibori). This is a laborious and time consuming technique and is very expensive in Japan. The fabric is a mid -weight matte silk which is completely covered by the tie-dye pattern. The whole garment has the matte textured slightly puffy finish typical of hand tied tie-dye. You will see slight variations in the small cells. This is not a flaw but proof that this garment is hand tie-dyed.
Traditional kimono styling with square split sleeves and an open front. The size is adaptable as it should be worn roomy.
