This is a fantastic genuine Japanese Silk Haori.

The fabric is a mid-weight Silk, smooth-textured with a slightly puffy and lustrous finish typical of hand tied tie-dye (shibori).

This garment is with hand-stitched shibori patterns in the traditional way. You will see slight variations in the small cells. This is not a flaw but proof that this garment is hand tie-dyed.

This vintage haori exemplifies timeless Japanese craftsmanship, serving both as an elegant traditional garment and a captivating piece of wall art. Its intricate design and rich cultural heritage bring sophistication to any setting, whether worn or displayed, offering a unique blend of history and aesthetic beauty.

This kimono has "Shitsuke-ito"(white stitching), to keep garment neat during long periods of storage, it just gets pulled out prior to wearing.
