This is a wonderful authentic Japanese Vintage Silk Haori.
The fabric is a mid-weight Silk, matte textured with a slightly puffy finish typical of hand tied tie-dye (shibori).
This garment is hand-made and hand-stitched in the traditional way. You will see slight variations in the small cells. This is not a flaw but proof that this garment is hand tie-dyed.
It makes an excellent and unusual traditional costume, a holiday and dressing garment, or would make a great gift.
There are stains on the lining as shown by the picture.
